​My name is Alex and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Spring. I train clients using a fusion of Pilates, TRX, Kettlebells and Gymnastics/Calisthenics/Yoga. I also provide nutrition guidance to improve performance and general health. 

I opened the doors of my studio in 2006 and I have trained clients of every age and level - from 18 to 83 years old and from complete novice to college athlete. I pride myself on providing my clients with a fitness plan tailored to their unique goals and abilities and following up with the expertise, support and motivation to keep them on the path of improvement.

I am an avid rock climber, surfer, skier and snowboarder and I am also 43 years old and the father of an active 8th grader and a 1 year old. I know how to train for the all-important general fitness that every active adult needs for quality of life. I also know what it’s like to train for a specific, high-demand goal or event. I train my clients the same way I train myself - with an emphasis on strength, mobility, power, and balance coupled with skill, technique, mental focus and deep enjoyment. Round this out with a sound nutrition plan and the foundation is laid for an enjoyable, productive and active lifestyle.
